On my birthday I was inviting many friends, colleagues, kids I take care of and the youth of our community for a birthday dinner to our school. I wanted to seduce them into the tastes of good vegan food and provided a very delicious mixed quinoa salad, high in probiotics, with a yummi chickpea spread and toasted buckwheat bread so we could celebrate with a solid foundation.
I wanted to invite many people who I interact with in my life in various forms and use the chance to give something back for all the gifts I am receiving by being surrounded with so many awesome people.

It was so beautiful to get so much love and apreciation, I felt very honoured and shy at the same time.
I then took some time to share with everybody how my last year went by and how especially the last year was wearing on me and my health and how much my pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela over the christmas holidays helped me to get back on track again. This could be a story of itself, but since then I quit smoking (which is going to be 6 month soon) and I promised to myself to take more care of me and my dreams.

I then shared about this project, where it originated, about my love for cycling, how I see it unfolding and what I see is still needed so it can manifest it. It was so beautiful to hear the resonance and support people had for the idea and I was happy I had been able to transport my pictures and imaginations. I also got quite some direct support, from financial contributions, material to borrow, traveling ideas – which made it clear for me: my journey was the right step for me to take and I have people who will have my back.
With the first wafe of support I was then able to purchase a used trekking bike in Germany, which made it clear for me: This journey will happen.
But more on that in my next episode.
Thanks for tuning in ♡
